On Sunday Karen, Steve, Kathy and Paul threw us a fantastic baby shower. Mimosas (for most of the guests), good food, and silly baby games. Pretty much everything that a baby shower requires ;-) Steve provided his skills as photographer and those pictures are posted at his website. Thanks to all who attended, we had a great time!
36 weeks now and we're ready to welcome our little girl. We completed our childbirth training on Sunday and are now officially certified to give birth ;-) (I wish that's how it worked...). As a parting gift all the couples received.....a six pack of beer! Turns out one of our classmates works for the Gordon Biersch brewery and decided to make some new friends. We all agreed it was a rather bizarre end to a childbirth class, but thanks for the brew!
Still getting the lay-midwife opinions wherever I go and I'm trying not to get annoyed with perfect strangers (who say the most bizarre things!). I expect a certain amount of good-natured abuse from my co-workers. Wouldn't be the same without it ;-)

29 Weeks

We're now just past 29 weeks, I'm 40.5 inches around (yes, we measured) and perfect strangers are feeling the need to point out that they think I'm unusually large ;-) Our "little baby" certainly is starting to feel bigger than she really is. Things are still going well. Normal checkups and no issues. Hard to believe that it's just about 10 more weeks until we meet her.

Baby Wilson's First Pictures
Today was our "big" ultrasound and we got some good shots of our little "peanut". Although, the printer could have used an ink switch-out. First shot is of the face. The second is of the feet (I'm sure this one will cause some groans from the future teenager). Our doctor confirmed all fingers and toes are accounted for :-)

Visit to Georgia
Mike and I recently spent some time in Georgia visiting my family. Got some pictures along the way.
