She did actually cry when I tried to take the ribbon and bow away from her. I felt horrible, but it's much less safe than the actual gift.

Christmas Tree

We finally got our Christmas tree up and mostly decorated. The tree topper is temporary until we find another one we like.

Kayleigh also received a pre-Christmas gift made by Oma (the hat along with a sweater and scarf). Of course, she was very happy with the paper! Sorry this video is sideways. I don't have the technology to fix it.

Santa, Baby

Today was Kayleigh's first visit with Santa. The big guy himself was at our Tiny Tots diaper service for a photo op. While he doesn't belong to the Amalgamated Order of Real Bearded Santas (http://www.aorbsinc.com/), the kids seemed to love him...mostly...OK, there was some crying, but it wasn't Kayleigh.

Mike and I were even allowed in the photo shoot!

Kayleigh has had a busy few weeks. She's now proficient at rolling from her back to her front (one way only). Sometimes she's OK with that and other times she needs to be rescued and put back on her back (only to roll over again)!

Although I don't have a picture of the event (this is a previous attempt at rolling, but not quite making it), Kayleigh decided that today was the day she would roll over. She spent most of mommy-baby yoga rolling around on the mat with her toys.

I also took some shots of her in one of her Christmas outfits since it was so cute.
